Position Overview
The Amazon Tester will work closely with the development and quality assurance teams to identify and resolve potential issues before our products reach customers. Your Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive testing on new and existing features within the Amazon platform.
- Identify, document, and communicate defects or issues found during testing.
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve bugs effectively.
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases based on project requirements.
- Perform regression testing to ensure that changes do not adversely affect existing functionalities.
- Utilize a variety of tools and methodologies for testing automation where applicable.
- Participate in team meetings and provide feedback on project progress and quality status.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in testing methodologies.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates must possess a combination of technical skills and an understanding of e-commerce systems. The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with functional and non-functional testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A detail-oriented mindset with a passion for improving user experience.
- Previous experience in e-commerce platforms is a plus.
